WWE has now shared a video of CM Punk meeting Cora Jade backstage in a full-circle moment at the NXT Deadline premium live event.

Cora Jade made her NXT return following the Iron Survivor match at the December 9 show, attacking NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria and posing with Valkyria’s gold.

With it previously established that CM Punk was in the building, many fans wanted to see the moment Punk was reunited with his fan, who is now an NXT star.

Throughout Cora Jade’s NXT career, a video of Jade as a young fan getting emotional while meeting CM Punk at a signing has resurfaced several times.

WWE has now uploaded a video on Twitter of CM Punk and Jade backstage together, which you can watch below.

During the encounter, Punk interrupted a backstage interview to tell Jade that he’s proud of her, before the telling her that April (AJ Lee/Mendez) is also proud.

When Jade broke character and got emotional, Punk referenced his comments from his first meeting with Jade, stating that he doesn’t like it when women cry.

Cora Jade has since shared photos with CM Punk backstage, which you can also see below.

Jade captioned her post:

What you’ve all been waiting for.

Jade has referenced CM Punk on WWE TV in the past, notably using Punk’s famous line ‘do I have everybody’s attention now’ in a promo on the April 11 edition of NXT.

While CM Punk is currently a WWE free agent, he will choose a brand to sign with on Monday’s edition of Raw.
