CM Punk Announced For First ‘Shoot Interview’ Since Rejoining WWE WWE

CM Punk has been announced for his first sit down ‘shoot interview’ since rejoining WWE after previously having been fired from AEW.

Interestingly, fans of both WWE and AEW may find the name of the interviewer familiar as CM Punk is set to sit down with someone who has had previous run-ins with Tony Khan.

On today’s episode of MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, the titular host revealed that on Monday, April 1 that CM Punk will be live in his studio for an interview.

In his first live extended interview since signing with WWE and departing AEW, Helwani noted that there were “no restrictions, nothing off limits, no holds barred, nothing is taboo,” in the interview.

Marking Punk’s first sit down, extended interview since departing AEW and rejoining WWE, the dynamics are surely set to be fascinating.

Helwani of course had a past fracas with AEW CEO Tony Khan after having branded an interview with him as having been one of the most difficult of his career.

Whether or not Punk can make any specific comments regarding his time in AEW or working with Tony Khan seems unlikely but possible.

There has been previous reports that there are ‘lifelong NDAs’ that will prevent CM Punk and many other parties involved from ever discussing specifically the events after AEW All Out 2022.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the appearance and everything Punk has to say when he sits down with Ariel Helwani on Monday.

Elsewhere in WWE news, CM Punk has been confirmed to have a role during WrestleMania 40 during this week’s episode of WWE Raw.
