WWE has announced CM Punk’s next appearance date following his shocking return.
At WWE Survivor Series: War Games, CM Punk made his return to the promotion for the first time in nine years in front of his hometown of Chicago.
Punk then made his first appearance on Monday Night Raw since 2014 on the November 27 episode and addressed the fans about his return.
On the December 1 edition of SmackDown, the company showed highlights of Punk from Survivor Series and Raw.
Commentary then announced that CM Punk will make his first appearance on SmackDown in nearly a decade on next Friday’s December 8 episode.
It was previously reported that Punk is internally listed as a “free agent,” so it seems he will be appearing on both shows for the time being.
WrestleTalk will provide any news and notes from tonight’s WWE SmackDown when they become available.
