Cody Reveals Who He Wants To Work With In AEW

On All Elite Wrestling’s media conference call, Cody revealed who he would like to work with in the future.

As reported by the Wrestling Observer, Jack Evans is who he would like to have a singles match with at some point. He stated that he doesn’t like the word underrated but he thinks Evans should get more love.

Evans has been used in primarily a tag team role since arriving in AEW. He and Angelico make up The Hybrid 2, a very talented, high-flying team. Although they have seen limited success in terms of wins, their matches have been consistently enjoyable.

Evans has also had a handful of matches as a singles competitor in AEW, most notably challenging Kenny Omega for the AAA Mega Championship on an episode of Dark.

Considering Cody is one of the EVPs in AEW, one would think he could make the match happen if he wanted it.
