Incredible Cody Rhodes Moment After WWE Raw Went Off Air Revealed

After the February 26 episode of WWE Raw, Cody Rhodes took to the ring and helped a couple with a gender reveal.

Last night’s episode saw Rhodes taking on Grayson Waller, as can be seen in the video below this news story.

Post match, Paul Heyman came down to the ring to warn Rhodes about challenging The Rock, referencing events from WWE Elimination Chamber.

Heyman’s protection wouldn’t stop Rhodes from going on the rampage, though, eventually dropping all of them before warning that he’s hunting down The Bloodline.

Rhodes would also be in the ring after the show and helped a couple with their gender reveal, as can be seen below.

Noting that there was a couple with a sign asking Cody whether they having a boy or a girl, the American Nightmare said:

“I feel like we’ve gotta find out, right? Is it in the envelope?

“Alrighty, are you sure about this? Do you have a gut feeling – boy or girl?”

The answer would come that the couple’s gut-feeling was going to be a boy.

Reflecting on the whole gender reveal phenomena, Rhodes went on to say:

“I’m really touched. This is wild. I’ve never done a gender reveal before.

“Oh, actually, I did one for myself but the internet got really p*ssed about it, but you guys are happy about this, right?

“I know it’s you guys’ baby, but it’s kinda the arena’s baby now, too.”

With the crowd cheering at the thought of being unofficial parents to the baby, Rhodes would reveal that the couple would be having a boy.

The fans erupted in applause, with Rhodes suggesting that Cody was a good name, until correcting himself by saying “it’s a terrible redneck name” before sending the crowd home happy.

In February 2021, AEW: Dynamite featured the gender reveal of Cody and Brandi Rhodes’s baby with it being revealed as a girl who would go on to be named Liberty.
