An update has emerged on recent teases made by Downstait regarding WWE star Cody Rhodes’ entrance theme ahead of WrestleMania 40.

The band notably created Cody Rhodes’ “Kingdom” walkout music, which Rhodes first used in 2016 following his WWE exit.

Downstait have been teasing an announcement about Kingdom for April 5, the day before the first night of WrestleMania 40.

With Downstait previously addressing rumors about the nature of their announcement, the band has now taken to Twitter to reveal that a remixed version of Kingdom is coming.

Still hyping up the date “4-5-24”, Downstait shared a 10 second teaser for the remix, which you can listen to below.

This would line up with the band’s previous tease, when someone predicted on March 16 that their announcement would either be a remix, music video or live performance announcement, Downstait replied “one of these is right.”

Downstait’s remix teaser has fuelled speculation that Rhodes will use this special version of Kingdom as his entrance theme for WrestleMania 40.

There has also been rumors swirling about Downstait potentially playing Rhodes to the ring at the event.

Rhodes will wrestle in two huge matches at the Show of Shows, first teaming with Seth Rollins to face off against The Rock and Roman Reigns on WrestleMania 40 Saturday.

He will then challenge for Roman Reigns’ WWE Undisputed Universal Title on WrestleMania 40 Sunday.
