A recently returning AEW star has indicated that a feud set up on the Collision premiere is set to continue on next week’s show.
Following his hard-fought victory over Buddy Matthews Andrade El Idolo offered to shake his opponents hand, but was instead greeted with an ambush from Matthews’ House of Black brethren.
This attack led Andrade to leave a message for the House of Black in a post-show interview uploaded to the AEW Twitter account.
In the clip Andrade thanked AEW and the fans while ominously telling the House of Black, “See you in Canada”.
While seemingly outnumbered for now, Andrade was of course a key member of Le Faccion Ingobernables prior to his torn-pec injury late last year.
One would assume Andrade could call upon members of the group such as Rush, Dralistico and Preston Vance for help given Andrade’s new babyface role this may not be a certainty to happen, as the group have continued to operate as heels in the 33-year-old’s absence.
Another factor at play is House of Black’s Trios Championships, titles that The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass once again reiterated their intention to pursue on Collision.
While Andrade’s win was soured by the attack he did receive high praise from a top WWE star, to find out more follow this link here.
