Current AEW Name Corrects Record On ‘Ancient History’ After Renewed Fan Criticism AEW

After some miscellaneous discourse popped up on social media, a current AEW name has reacted to correct the record on some ‘ancient history’.

There were two infamous instances of Taz taking a piledriver from Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler and immediately popping up.

With fans online today becoming heated over a spot from over twenty years ago, Taz weighed in to give an explanation.

In response to fan back and forth including the clips of the two spots in question, Taz wrote:

“So here is the deal with this ancient history NO SELL spot… I’ve done it several times with King… and NOT one of those times was it my idea. Each time I had to be heavily convinced in long conversations to do it.”

Elsewhere in Taz related news, former tag partner Rob Van Dam is set to make another appearance on AEW and work with Taz’s son, HOOK.

RVD is set to team up with HOOK on the upcoming Wednesday, October 25 edition of AEW Dynamite. Find out who they will be facing by clicking this link.
