Current Champion Hoping For Match Against AEW’s Jamie Hayter

Inaugural IWGP Women’s Champion KAIRI has expressed interest in a match with current AEW Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter.

Hayter is a one-time AEW Women’s Champion, winning the belt at AEW Full Gear in November 2022.

KAIRI – formerly Kairi Sane in WWE – defeated Mayu Iwatani in the main event of Historic X-Over to become the first ever IWGP Women’s Champion.

Speaking during an interview with Dark Puroresu Flowsion, KAIRI was asked whether she had any interest in a match with the AEW Women’s Champion, to which she replied:

“Of course! In fact, I never met her. But I often hear that she was very active in the STARDOM ring. Hello Jamie, I’m KAIRI! I hope you read this.”

At New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 17 event, KAIRI was confronted by Mercedes Mone in her NJPW debut.
