Current WWE Plan For Otis & Money In The Bank Revealed

The current plan for the WWE Money in the Bank contract which is currently held by SmackDown star Otis has been revealed.

There has been speculation recently that WWE might have been thinking about getting the contract off Otis, be that via a failed cash-in or someone beating him to obtain it, but WrestleVotes is reporting that, although such ideas have been suggested, the current plan is for him to keep hold of it.

WrestleVotes tweeted:

There have been multiple pitched ideas to remove the MITB briefcase from Otis & make the storyline a main focus again, some of which are really decent ideas I’ve been told. However, and this is a big however, Otis’ biggest fan is Vince. So right now, no go.

On SmackDown right now there’s a lawsuit angle involving Otis and The Miz, with Miz suing Otis for providing an “unsafe work environment”, and it had been rumoured that this could have been the way of to get the contract off the Heavy Machinery member.

Right now though, as WrestleVotes wrote, Vince McMahon is seemingly happy, so unless minds change (which wouldn’t exactly be surprising), it doesn’t look like he’s going to be dropping it for the time being.
