Dana White Addresses Whether Brock Lesnar & Ronda Rousey Will Fight At UFC 300

Dana White has addressed whether Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey will fight at UFC 300.

Earlier this week, UFC President Dana White announced the main event bouts for UFC 297 in January, UFC 298 in February and UFC 299 in March.

That schedule puts UFC 300 on track to take place in April. Many MMA fans believe this will be the card to feature the return of Conor McGregor, but two other UFC legends will not be getting back into the Octagon at the landmark show.

Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Dana White was asked about former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar and UFC Hall of Famer Ronda Rousey fighting at UFC 300. He answered:

“I get why everybody asks. I love that everybody loves them like that, and with so much passion. I do, too. But they’re definitely not coming back for UFC 300.”

On his relationship with former 10-time WWE world champion Brock Lesnar, White said:

“I always had an incredible working relationship with Brock Lesnar,”

“It’s funny to say this because he’s such a grouchy dude, but I consider Brock Lesnar a friend.”

On the first woman to ever be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame, Ronda Rousey, Dana stated:

“I absolutely love Ronda Rousey,”

“She’s one of the greatest athletes I’ve ever worked with. She’s a pioneer, an inspirational figure for women, and an all-around badass for UFC.”

White concluded by stating his current priority is on the upcoming MSG event and the two WWE stars are not returning. He said:

“I’m focused on Madison Square Garden. But no, they’re not coming back.”

Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey last appeared for WWE at SummerSlam 2023, where Lesnar lost to Cody Rhodes, while Rousey suffered a loss in a MMA Rules Match against Shayna Baszler.
