Details On Scrapped WWE SmackDown Angle

Details have emerged on a scrapped angle from last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

On the show, Tegan Nox was originally slated to sell an injury angle, which didn’t end up happening.

Tegan instead accompanied Natalya for her match against Shayna Baszler on the show, before helping her fight off Shayna and Ronda Rousey.

Fightful Select (subscription required) has provided an update on what the planned angle with Tegan would have entailed.

The angle would have originally seen Tegan in the medical room with a doctor checking on her knee.

Tegan was involved in an injury angle on this week’s show, but it wasn’t her that was selling the injury.

Tegan attacked Ronda Rousey backstage, taking her out of the planned tag team match with Shayna against Tegan and Natalya.

Ronda is reportedly dealing with a legitimate arm injury, but the company is hopeful she will be cleared in time for WrestleMania.
