Dolph Ziggler Pitches ‘MMA Style’ Match Against Popular WWE Star For WrestleMania WWE

WWE star Dolph Ziggler has revealed that his dream WrestleMania match would be a hard-hitting encounter against Shinsuke Nakamura.

On Casual Conversations with The Classic, Ziggler was asked to describe a bout that he wants to have at the Show of Shows.

Pitching a long ‘MMA style’ match against the King of Strong Style, Ziggler said:

“You know what I would like to do? I would like to do an hour with Shinsuke Nakamura and have it tie into his MMA and striking background and my wrestling background so we’d kind of it a MMA style feel to it with a build, and 45 minutes to an hour to make that where you see, where your body does that fight or flight halfway through to where you go this is some legitimate stuff and make it a, maybe like over in Japan where it’s not quite genuine UFC/MMA fight, but it’s pretty damn close.

“We can get some strikes and some chokes. That would be fun because I love Shinsuke, he does some of the coolest stuff. He’s a great guy, and he’s so good, and he understands this so well that we relate to each other so well, I think.”

Silly Dolph, you were asked about a dream WWE WrestleMania match, not a NJPW Wrestle Kingdom main event!

Ziggler didn’t compete at WrestleMania 38, as he was having a run in NXT at the time. He retained his NXT Championship at the Stand & Deliver special, before dropping it to Bron Breakker on the edition of Raw after WrestleMania.

Corey Graves recently noted that following Clash At The Castle, he believes there’s a good chance that the UK will host a WrestleMania in the near future.
