Dominik Mysterio To Turn On Rey Mysterio At Raw In Madison Square Garden?

Could Dominik Mysterio be set to finally turn heel and betray his father Rey Mysterio at the Madison Square Garden episode of WWE Raw?

The MSG show will take place on July 25 and will be the final episode of Raw before SummerSlam.

WWE made a specific point of mentioning on this past Monday’s show that the July 25 episode will also be Rey Mysterio’s 20th anniversary show.

That said, you’d imagine there will likely be some kind of celebration or showcase for Mysterio like there was for Randy Orton recently, and that would seem like a pretty good place to do a heel turn.

Plus, we all know how Vince McMahon feels about Madison Square Garden, so he’ll likely want to run a huge angle there, and this would certainly count as a huge angle.

The question is probably whether WWE would only announce a Rey vs Dominik match five days in advance, with SummerSlam taking place the following Saturday, because it’s definitely a match that should be on either SummerSlam or WrestleMania.

The Judgment Day team of Finn Balor and Damian Priest have been trying to recruit Dominik recently, so that’s surely going to result either in a turn, or the Mysterios vs Balor and Priest at SummerSlam.

We’ll have to wait and see, but perhaps we’re in for a big heel turn for Dominik in 10 days’ time. Just to clarify, this article is nothing more than some fun speculation.
