Drew McIntyre Sends Another Pointed Message To CM Punk

Drew McIntyre Sends Another Pointed Message To CM Punk WWE

WWE’s Drew McIntyre is having quite the time at CM Punk’s expense while the “Voice of the Voiceless” is out with an injury.

Whether it’s wearing his meme-themed T-shirt and being fined by Raw GM Adam Pearce or discussing legitimate issues he had with Punk, McIntyre is clear in what he thinks of his fellow WWE star.

Following the opening match of last night’s WWE Raw, in which McIntyre defeated Cody Rhodes with the help of The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa, McIntyre would take to Twitter with another shot at Punk, tweeting:

“Look in my eyes, what do you see?”

Referencing the opening line of Cult of Personality, CM Punk’s theme, McIntyre used a GIF that was pulled from Pat McAfee’s telestrator review of the opening match on WWE Raw.

The whole of that review can be seen below this news story, in all its illustrated glory, along with the match in full from the WWE YouTube channel.

Punk may be out of the running for WrestleMania 40, but he did make an appearance after the Februrary 19 episode of WWE Raw.

CM Punk suffered a torn triceps injury during the Royal Rumble on January 27, 2024, ruling himself out of a match at the April 6 & 7 Premium Live Event.

Although a feud between Punk and McIntyre is clearly in the works, it was recently reported that McIntyre still hasn’t signed a new WWE contract.

His current contract is set to expire in April 2024, with McIntyre recently saying “let the internet talk about it” when discussing speculation.
