WWE Star Fined For Mocking Rival’s Injury In Front Of Management WWE

Drew McIntyre is continuing to revel in CM Punk’s injury and the end of the sidelined star’s WWE WrestleMania 40 dream.

Punk was injured during the Royal Rumble and won’t be fit to compete in April’s two-night WrestleMania.

Since then, Drew McIntyre has sported a T-shirt bearing a rather pointed meme at the death of Punk’s dream.

In response to the McIntyre laughing at the gravestone meme design, WWE Raw GM Adam Pearce had, in storyline, issued McIntyre a fine.

As can be seen below, McIntyre wasn’t deterred by the monetary punishment, choosing to wear the T-shirt backstage at the February 12 episode of WWE Raw.

Unfortunately, he’d be caught by Pearce who was clearly disappointed and doubled the fine as a further punishment.

McIntyre apologised to Pearce and removed the offending garment, feeling “so bad” about the situation, much to the Raw GM’s approval.

Unfortunately for Pearce, McIntyre was wearing another exact same meme T-shirt underneath and was quite happy at getting one over the authority figure.

Pearce, in response, has now “tripled” McIntyre’s fine, which has led to the WWE star asking fans to buy the shirt in order to help offset the “unjust fines”.

On next week’s episode of WWE Raw, McIntyre will face Cody Rhodes as the Road to WrestleMania continues.
