Drew McIntyre Reveals What He Recently Ticked Off His WWE Bucket List WWE

Following last night’s WWE Holiday Tour event from Madison Square Garden (December 26), Drew McIntyre has revealed another thing has been ticked off his bucket list.

On a stacked card that saw the first Texas Bullrope match in over a decade and the WWE in-ring return of CM Punk, the honor of closing the show instead went to Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre.

In what was a taster for their anticipated World Heavyweight Championship match at the Day 1 edition of Monday Night Raw on January 1, with Rollins defending his title against the Scottish Warrior.

Given that we’re just days away from that match at Day 1, it is perhaps unsurprising that Rollins picked up the win over his familiar opponent; however, for McIntyre the result was not the most important takeaway.

Instead, it was simply being able to now say that he has closed a show at ‘the world’s most famous arena’ MSG.

Taking to Twitter after the event, McIntyre ranked the moment alongside other major milestones such as winning the Royal Rumble and main eventing WrestleMania, tweeting:

Win the Royal Rumble

Main Event WrestleMania

Become WWE Champion

Close out MSG

Another one off the bucket list

Despite being heavily featured in Raw’s main event scene at present, McIntyre reportedly still yet to sign a new contract with WWE; with his current deal said to expire following WrestleMania 40.

Stay tuned to WrestleTalk for any updates on McIntyre’s contract status with WWE as/when it becomes available.
