A full English translation has been released for Shinsuke Nakamura’s promo on the August 14 edition of Monday Night Raw, where the King of Strong Style explained his attack on World Heavyweight Champion Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins.
Nakamura broke his usual tradition of performing his promos in English by instead reverting mostly to his native Japanese when being asked questions on his actions from the August 7 Raw by Michael Cole.
While he was interrupted after just a few minutes by Rollins, Nakamura explained to Cole that he was fed up of both himself and his position recently in WWE.
Nakamura stated he wasn’t satisfied and wanted to become world champion, attacking Rollins because “it’s the quickest way to prove yourself”.
After Rollins interrupted, the champion agreed to defend his title against Nakamura, however, no date was agreed for when this will take place.
WWE’s next scheduled Premium Live Event Payback falls on September 2 from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA.
While no matches have yet been set for the event, a World Title match between Rollins vs Nakamura looks likely, especially given the fact that Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is not currently advertised to appear on the show.
