The Story so far…

Enzo Amore was released by WWE earlier this year when news of his alleged misconduct became public. We have a detailed article of the initial allegations, written by our very own Luke Owen at the time of the incident. Since Enzo’s release, over the past few months, he had kept quiet about any ongoing inquiries or investigations into the incident, presumably to avoid getting himself in further hot-water, only posting a few messages through social media.

The latest news, that no further legal action would be taken against him, will no doubt come as a great relief. The statement indicates that the Phoenix Police department have come to the conclusion that there is insufficient evidence to warrant any criminal charges, and that all investigations into the matter have now been closed. While it is clear that any wrong doing has been denied from the outset, the statement reinforces his innocence in several places.

ProWrestlingSheet are reporting that they have confirmed with the Pheonix Police Department that the case has indeed been closed, however also note that the case may be re-opened if any more information comes to light.

With the case now closed, as close to a resolution or truth as we are ever likely to get, the question stands what is next for Enzo Amore.
