EXCLUSIVE: LA Knight Addresses Logan Paul, Max Dupri & More

The sentimental favorite to win the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match this year, LA Knight, has spoken to WrestleTalk ahead of the event.

Knight first addressed which champion he’d want to cash in on, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, or Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. He said:

“You know what, we’ll see, because when you’re carrying a case like that it’s all about opportunity – what’s in front of me at this very moment? I can plan anything I want, but you gotta strike when the iron’s hot, right?”

When asked what the best thing about being LA Knight is, he replied:

“The best thing about being LA Knight is everywhere you go all around the world, I walk into an arena, that music hits, people jump out of their seat. Whether they cheer me, they boo me, man it is a hell of a time after that.”

Knight then spoke about how far he’s come in the past year, going from being Max Dupri to where he is now, saying:

“It’s been an interesting one that’s for sure. There’s been some ups, some downs, some rollercoasters, but at this point, it’s just me being me, and I’ve been having a hell of a time for the last five-six months.”

Speaking of Max Dupri, Knight appeared on last night’s SmackDown to interrupt the Grayson Waller Effect with guest Logan Paul, leading to a battle on the mic with Paul, during which Paul called him the “Mega Manager” instead of the “Mega Star”.

Speaking in the interview about being part of the men’s Money in the Bank match with Paul, Knight said:

“He got to find out at Monday night Raw a couple of weeks ago and I made him go viral then. At this point, (at Money in the Bank), we’ve got a chance to kind of do the same thing, and he’ll find out.”
