Finn Balor has commented on his WWE future ahead of making his first appearance as a SmackDown star, following a brand switch.

Following Finn Balor being listed as a SmackDown star on the King of the Ring bracket, the Judgment Day confirmed that their former member had been moved to the blue brand during the June 1 Raw episode.

The June 5 SmackDown episode featured a video package of Balor stating that despite his accomplishments, he’s hungry for more.

Balor said:

“I’ve proven myself time and time again in this business. Any night, any situation, any match, I will shine.

Balor is recognised as an official WWE Grand Slam champion, following his Universal, Intercontinental, US and World Tag Team championship reigns.

The star was also very successful in NXT, holding the NXT Championship twice, and winning the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic alongside Samoa Joe in 2015.

With all of these accomplishments under Balor’s belt, there’s not much higher he can go, however a King of the Ring win would definitely be a worthwhile achievement for the inaugural Universal Champion.

Balor will be in action in King of the Ring first round action on next week, against Jey Uso, Royce Keys and LA Knight.

While many fans would love to see Balor hold the WWE Championship or another world title after having to relinquish the Universal Title after just one day, Balor recently stated that he views his Universal Championship reign as a success story.
