Former NXT 2.0 Stars React On Twitter After Announcement Of Their Release WWE

Several of the released stars from NXT 2.0 have spoken out since word was announced that there were budgetary cuts leading to their releases.

The former Harland spoke out amidst reports that he was released specifically because he was “not progressing enough” by posting an image of himself looking powerful and touting a return to his pre-WWE name, Parker Boudreaux.

He also has changed his profile photo, bio and posted another photo of himself as Parker Boudreaux again repeating the sentiment that he is back.

Elsewhere on Twitter, the former Persia Pirotta kept it simple writing:

“Three Little Birds – Bob Marley”

A bit jarringly, just two tweets ago Persia tweeted on April 27 a link to an info form:

“Be my guest at NXT 2.0 next Tuesday in Orlando, FL! Click the link and register now for a chance to win a meet and greet with me after the show.”

There are reportedly frustrations backstage at NXT 2.0 regarding how last-minute these decisions seem, as several of the released stars were actively involved in storylines at the minute.

As reports surfaced this afternoon that talent including on-screen personalities and a referee were being released from NXT 2.0, initial reports included the names of the 10 roster members who have lost their jobs.

Announced as having been released are Dakota Kai, Malcolm Bivens, Blair Baldwin (referee), Harland, Persia Pirotta, Sanjana George/Vish Kanya, Draco Anthony, Raelyn Divine, Mila Malani and Dexter Lumis.
