Former WWE Star Reacts To Edge’s Removal From Internal Roster WWE

A former WWE star has reacted to Edge’s removal from the internal roster.

As previously reported, PWInsider reported that Edge has been removed from WWE’s internal roster as of September 13.

This followed his contract with the company expiring after his most recent bout against Sheamus on August 18 edition of WWE SmackDown in his hometown of Toronto.

Since that match, there have been various reports and rumours in regards to WWE believing the Rated R Superstar may be on his way to All Elite Wrestling.

Taking to social media shortly after the news broke, former WWE star Mercedes Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks, to seemingly show love to Edge following the end of his WWE run with a gif and caption. She wrote:

On this day, I see clearly.
Everything has come to life.

Mercedes Mone worked with WWE from 2012 to 2022 before she walked out on the company alongside Trinity Fatu (Naomi) in May 2022 due to creative differences.

Mone was subsequently suspended indefinitely and stripped of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. She would later receive her release before signing with New Japan Pro Wrestling earlier this year.

Mercedes Mone went on to defeat KAIRI to win the IWGP Women’s Championship. She suffered an ankle injury in May that has kept her out of action since then. Mone recently appeared in the audience at AEW All In London last month.

WrestleTalk will provide further updates and breaking news regarding Edge when they become available.
