Marking the end of the year, former WWE NXT star Sareee has won the 2024 Tokyo Sports Joshi MVP award.
On December 10, Tokyo Sports announced the winners of their annual awards highlighting the best from Japanese pro wrestling.
Current Marigold World Champion Sareee was named the 2024 Tokyo Sports Joshi MVP.
In 2024, the former WWE star put on countless instant classics against the likes of Giulia, Mayu Iwatani and Chihiro Hashimoto as well as became the inaugural Marigold World Champion.
Celebrating this honor for their top champion, the Marigold promotion’s Twitter/X account congratulated Sareee for winning the Joshi MVP award. The post reads:
Congratulations to Marigold World Champion Sareee! She won the 2024 Women’s Wrestling Grand Prize, as voted on by the Tokyo Sports committee! This is the 2024 joshi MVP award!
Sareee will defend the Marigold World Championship against Nanae Takahashi on December 13.
