A former WWE star has reflected on their recent AEW debut after appearing in a dark match at this week’s Dynamite.
At this week’s Dynamite show, former WWE star Scott Taylor (Scotty Too Hotty) made his AEW debut in a dark match prior to the show.
Taylor made his entrance complete with the Too Cool theme song from his time in WWE, teaming with the Acclaimed to pick up the victory in his debut.
Taking to Twitter, Scott reflected on his match in the company, and how it was the first time he could perform in the ring in front of his children that they are old enough to remember.
He wrote:
Last night I was able to do this in an arena with my kids in the audience for the first time that they are old enough to remember it. Thank you to @RealBillyGunn & @TonyKhan for making this happen. A personal career highlight for me.
The reason why AEW are able to use the iconic theme song from WWE has been revealed, which you can see here.
