Brian Jossie, who appeared in WWE as Abraham Washington, has been discharged from hospital after dealing with life threatening complications following surgery.

As documented by Jossie’s partner Marnae June Barnum on social media, Jossie was rushed to the ER last month with severe stomach pain, which was later revealed to be a tear in his intestines.

While his surgery was successful, Jossie aspirated, causing fluid to build up in his lungs. Jossie was then placed in an induced coma and on life support.

Thankfully his condition improved over the course of the past month and in the latest update from Marnae June Barnum on Instagram, she revealed that Jossie was now home and recovering.

After almost a month in the hospital, Brian is finally home! What a crazy, unexpected month August has been.

I’m just so grateful to have him alive and here with me. Just last week, he could barely sit on the edge of his bed without help.

Today, when we were leaving they went to get a wheel chair, he refused, and he insisted on walking out on his own with me.

Jossie was signed to WWE between 2009 and 2012. While he competed as a wrestler in WWE’s developmental promotion Florida Championship Wrestling during that time, he was better known for his ‘Abraham Washington Show’ segments on WWE’s ECW and later managing the Prime Time Players.

Jossie has most recently been competing as a bodybuilder, but did wrestle sporadically under the name G.O.A.T. between 2016 and 2019.

We at WrestleTalk wish Jossie all the best in his continued recovery.
