WWE
Over the past number of weeks, there have been several different duos in WWE who have gone their separate ways.
Looking ahead, there might be some more pairings that split in the coming weeks and months on WWE TV.
Whether it be Lyra Valkyria and Bayley, Giulia and Kiana James or The Culling, Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown and NXT have seen a few tag teams breaking up due to differences or built-up frustrations.
Here are seven more WWE tag teams potentially splitting up soon.
7. Alpha Academy (Otis & Akira Tozawa)
Back in 2024, Chad Gable verbally and physically abused his Alpha Academy stablemates Otis, Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri.
Leaving them on their own, Gable started his own stable American Made with The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile. However, the former Olympian has found a change of heart after unmasking as The Original El Grande Americano at Noche de Los Grandes.
On the June 22 episode of WWE Raw, Gable made his amends and apologized to Alpha Academy, but Dupri did not accept this and disparaged her former mentor before leading Otis and Tozawa away from him.
Alpha Academy breaking up completely might be the next step in this story depending on who forgives Gable for what he did to the group.
6. LWO (Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde)
In 2023, Rey Mysterio merged with Santos Escobar and Legado Del Fantasma to become a reformed Latino World Order.
Over the past three years, there have been plenty of changes to the LWO and who is part of the stable.
Despite both being in Lucha Libre AAA, Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde have not been teaming as the LWO as of late.
Del Toro and Wilde splitting up could allow them both to spread their wings as singles stars sometime in the future.
5. WrenQCC (Wren Sinclair & Kendal Grey)
Since she started making appearances on WWE NXT, Kendal Grey has joined forces with Wren Sinclair to create the WrenQCC.
An offshoot of the No Quarter Catch Crew (NQCC), WrenQCC have found success as a pairing with Grey as a former WWE Evolve Women’s Champion and Iron Survivor winner, while Sinclair is the current WWE Speed Women’s Champion.
Over the past few months, fans have seen Wren become a weakness of sorts for Kendal after suffering a leg injury. Now that she is back from injury, Sinclair wants Grey to focus on the NXT Women’s Championship, while she defends her title.
With Grey set to challenge Lola Vice for the title, fans could see Kendal want to be on her own or Sinclair become envious of her friend’s success, breaking them up in the process.
4. R-Truth & Damian Priest
In March, R-Truth and Damian Priest defeated The MFTs to win the WWE Tag Team Championship.
Since then, Truth and Priest have had to deal with Solo Sikoa and company, which has led to them needing some assistance from Royce Keys.
The former Powerhouse Hobbs’ history with Sikoa and his family has led to Priest being apprehensive, while Truth has been willing to work with Keys to even the odds with The MFTs.
These differences could see Priest getting overwhelmed with his frustrations and turning his back on Truth along the way.
3. Paige & Brie Bella
At WWE WrestleMania 42 night one, Paige made her return to replace Nikki Bella, teaming with Brie Bella to defeat The Irresistible Forces, Bayley & Lyra Valkyria and Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Over the past few months, Brie and Paige have become fighting champions with successful defenses against The Irresistible Forces, Bayley & Lyra and The Judgment Day.
While they have found success as a pairing, many fans believe this partnership is only temporary and will eventually end when Nikki makes her return.
Brie reuniting with Nikki could see the iconic twins come together to take out Paige and claim the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship for themselves.
2. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss
Over the past year, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss have become one of the best tag teams in all of WWE.
What started out as ‘Allies of Convenience’ have become best friends, Flair and Bliss now find themselves closer than ever.
While their bond and connection has helped them along the way, it has become a weakness as of late during Charlotte’s feud with Jade Cargill.
Needing to focus on her own singles success, Flair could leave Bliss behind and decide to stand by herself against the threat of Cargill, Michin and B-Fab.
1. The MFTs (Solo Sikoa, Tama & Talla Tonga)
The MFTs have been one of the most prominently featured acts on Friday Night SmackDown over the past few months.
Led by Solo Sikoa, the group have held their own as a force and caused chaos for anyone in front of them.
Since showing up during the aftermath of the Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu Tribal Combat at WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Sikoa has found himself right back in The Bloodline drama with his cousin invited back into the faction.
After Sikoa’s presence cost them the WWE Tag Team Title on the June 19 SmackDown, Tama and Talla Tonga might decide to split from Solo once and for all.
