FTR Announced For NJPW Royal Quest II

AEW stars Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR have now been announced for NJPW Royal Quest II.

NJPW will return to the UK for this two night event on October 1 and 2. It has now been confirmed that the IWGP Tag Team Champions will be in action at the event.

Harwood and Wheeler won the IWGP gold at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, defeating Roppongi Vice and Jeff Cobb & Great-O-Khan in a threeway bout where the ROH tag title were also on the line.

In addition to these two titles, FTR also holds the AAA Tag Team Championship.

The duo were recently in action at the NJPW STRONG Music City Mayhem taping, teaming with Alex Zayne to face off against Kyle Fletcher, Mark Davis & TJP.

This was the team’s most recent match together, with Harwood & Wheeler last wrestling for AEW on the June 29 edition of Dynamite, and for ROH at the July 23 Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view.

NJPW is also preparing for its first crossover event with STARDOM, and the introduction of the IWGP Women’s Championship. We recently got our first look at the title belt design, which you can check out right here.
