Olympic Gold medal winning wrestler Gable Steveson has been a target for WWE for a while now, and he announced that he would be in attendance for last night’s SummerSlam show.
As viewers would have seen, Gable, alongside fellow Olympic Gold Medal winning wrestler Tamyra Mensah-Scott, were introduced to the live crowd in the ring on the show.
Steveson famously sent a waving emoji to Vince McMahon on Twitter, and the two finally met in person last night, as Gable shared on Twitter tweeting ‘The Man I Wanted To See… @WWE’ alongside a picture of himself and Vince McMahon.

Both Steveson and Mensah-Stock have expressed their desire to wrestle for WWE one day, so last night could have been a very important night in that regard.
Seth Rollins, who lost to Edge on last night’s show, has expressed that he would be interested in training Steveson for a run in WWE.
