Gable Steveson WWE Debut Match Announced

Gable Steveson has made a big announcement tonight (July 25). Find out when his WWE debut match is set to occur and spoiler: it is soon!

Gable Steveson appeared on tonight’s edition of WWE NXT to reveal his plans for the future – continue his collegiate wrestling career, focus on training for the Paris 2024 Olympics and becoming the first two-time American wrestling gold medalist, or join NXT.

While he was weighing his options in an in-ring segment, he was interrupted by Baron Corbin who had some friendly advice.

Corbin encouraged Steveson to hold off on WWE, go back to College or chase more Gold medals because he very likely doesn’t have what it takes to be successful in WWE.

While Steveson seemed unimpressed by Corbin’s advice, he also shared that their exchange helped make his life altering career decision for him, and he would not only be joining NXT but would be debuting very soon.

Gable Steveson challenged Baron Corbin at Sunday’s NXT premium live event, Great American Bash, for a match – Steveson’s first in WWE.

Announced ahead of tonight’s show, WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley will take on Lyra Valkyria in the show’s main event as the Judgment Day’s Ripley and Dominik Mysterio continue to appear on NXT, including tonight’s opening segment.
