According to the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) has filed for a new trademark.
On July 21, GCW filed an application to trademark the term ‘FIGHT FOREVER’, to cover use surrounding ‘entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests.’
The following description accompanied the filing:
Mark For: FIGHT FOREVER™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network.
‘Fight Forever’ was the name of the 24-hour streaming event hosted by GCW last January. The USPTO application dates the first use of the term back to January 2021.
AEW previously trademarked the term ‘AEW: Fight Forever’. This will be the name of the promotion’s upcoming console game.
AEW’s Jon Moxley will return to GCW in August for the GCW Homecoming Part 1 event. Moxley currently holds both the GCW World Title and the interim AEW World Championship.
Moxley will defend his interim AEW gold against RUSH on Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen.
