The Grizzled Young Veterans’ first matches following their WWE departures have been revealed, following their contracts expiring.
With James Drake and Zack Gibson’s WWE deals expiring on Saturday (October 14), the duo announced a ‘global takeover’ tour later that day.
The first stops on this tour have been revealed, with Irish independent promotion Over The Top Wrestling announcing two matches featuring Drake and Gibson.
The Grizzled Young Veterans will first appear at the October 27 OTT Ninth-Year Anniversary show for a match against Man Like Dereiss and Omari.
The duo have also been announced for the October 28 OTT Ninth-Year Anniversary date the following night, where they will face off against The Draw.
Drake and Gibson most recently wrestled on the August 29 edition of WWE NXT, losing to the Creed Brothers in a steel cage bout.
Because their contracts expired, they don’t have any non-compete clauses and are officially free agents.
