Former AEW World Champion Hangman Page is set to face a first time opponent in former ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli on AEW Dynamite.
On the January 3 edition of AEW Dynamite, Hangman Adam Page made his return to television and was looking for a fight after being taken out by The Devil and his henchmen.
Page confronted his rival Swerve Strickland and got into a pull-apart brawl before officials and security separated the two to end the show.
Now, it looks like Hangman’s desire for a fight has caught the attention of a former ROH World Champion.
On the January 6 episode of AEW Collision, Claudio Castagnoli called out Hangman Page and challenged him to a first time singles match on the January 10 Homecoming edition of Dynamite.
After Castagnoli’s victory over Andrew Everett, it was announced that Claudio will go one-on-one with Hangman on Wednesday’s show.
This marks a first time ever matchup between the former AEW World Champion and the former ROH World Champion.
