There was a hilarious Michael Cole moment on tonight’s WWE Raw that was so remarkable, the crowd broke out in a ‘Michael’ chant!
Veteran WWE commentator Michael Cole may have been the voice of the WWE for decades but tonight, he also was the wearer of antlers.
Often enough to be noted on WWE Raw, Michael Cole will comment on whether or not Valhalla is wearing antlers when she makes her ring entrance to accompany Ivar of the Viking Raiders.
Well tonight, Cole was in luck as not only did Valhalla come to the ring in her antlers, she also brought them to Michael Cole as an offering.
Hopping up onto the announcer’s desk, Valhalla put the antlers on Michael Cole and he went on to call the match wearing the headpiece.
The San Antonio, Texas crowd was so thrilled by the moment that they broke out into a ‘Michael! Michael!’ chant as Pat McAfee teased him on commentary.
After the hilarious moment, Cole’s look would be discussed using McAfee on telestrations and taking to Twitter again for the second Monday in a row after an extended absence, Cole sent out a snap of the moment.
Cole wrote:
“A boyhood dream has come true.”
The antlers may have held the luck that Ivar needed as in the end, he did lose the match against Sami Zayn.
After the match, Zayn was attacked by one of his opponents for next week’s big gauntlet match to determine who will face GUNTHER at WrestleMania 40, Big Bronson Reed.
