A huge update has emerged on another former WWE star who had been talked about as potentially making a return to the company.
Kairi Sane made her return at WWE Crown Jewel, joining forces with IYO SKY and helping SKY retain the WWE Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair.
Shortly after that, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful had reported that WWE was “working on” a deal to bring former NXT star Sarray (or Sareee as she’s known in Japan) back to the company as well.
Days earlier, PWInsider had reported that Sarray was in talks to return to the US.
A new PWInsider report has revealed that Sarray has now signed a deal to return to the US, but not with WWE.
Per the report, she has signed a multi-year deal with Sukeban, the recently debuted Japanese women’s promotion based in New York.
She will reportedly debut at Sukeban’s second event which takes place in Miami next month. UPDATE: The promotion has now made an official announcement:
We have signed @Sareee_official to a multi-year contract. She will debut for Sukeban next month in Miami as a member of the Cherry Bomb Girls. pic.twitter.com/JISbi4c3gc
