The identities of several WWE departures today (December 1) have been confirmed as part of the latest batch of layoffs.
One name fans will likely recognized as having been released is NXT interview and regular WWE digital show host McKenzie Mitchell.
After Mitchell announced that news, it was soon noted that there had been more layoffs within the corporate side of the company today.
Multiple other names who were let go have now been confirmed by Wrestlenomics:
Michael Weitz – SVP, Financial Planning
Craig Stimmel – Head of Global Sales and Partnerships
Karen Mullane – Controller and Chief Accounting Officeer
Stewart Frey – SVP, Streaming Technology
Matt Geyer – SVP, Gaming
Wrestlenomics noted the financial, sales and partnerships, human relations, and production departments were affected by today’s cuts.
Over 100 WWE employees were already laid off in September just days after the merger with UFC and formation of TKO under Endeavor.
