Since Sting debuted in AEW earlier this month, there have been a lot of teases that the TNT Champion and WWE Hall of Famer are going to square off at some stage next year.
Due to the fact that Sting has been dealing with spinal stenosis for a number of years now, fans have been speculating that if we do see the two AEW stars go head-to-head, it will actually be in a cinematic match.
In an exclusive interview with WrestleTalk’s Louis Dangoor, Darby Alline noted that while he hasn’t done a cinematic match in his career yet, he would be open to doing one, saying “it’d be the craziest s*** you’ve ever seen”:
“I haven’t done a cinematic match, but if I do a cinematic it’ll be the craziest s*** you’ve ever seen. So for that aspect, I’d say I’m up for it, I’m up for a cinematic match. It would be something. I’ve never done it, but you’ve seen what I’m willing to do in my promos, I ran over my friend with a car a month ago.
During the interview, Darby Allin also spoke about how getting to be involved with Sting on Dynamite over the last few weeks has been a highlight for him in 2020. You can check out what he had to say by clicking here.
