IYO SKY To Face Top WWE Star On Tonight’s SmackDown (July 21)

IYO SKY is set to face a top WWE star on tonight’s July 21 edition of SmackDown.

At WWE Money In The Bank, IYO SKY defeated Bayley, Becky Lynch, Zoey Stark, Zelina Vega and Trish Stratus to win the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

Since then, SKY and her fellow Damage CTRL member Bayley have been setting their sights on Asuka’s WWE Women’s Championship on SmackDown.

This included the duo getting involved in the Asuka vs. Bianca Belair title match on the July 14 episode alongside Charlotte Flair. Now, the fallout from this will take place on this week’s show.

On Friday afternoon, WWE announced that IYO SKY will face Charlotte Flair in singles action on tonight’s broadcast.

This follows the announcement that Flair and Belair will challenge “The Empress of Tomorrow” in a triple threat match for the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam on August 5, which you can read here.

As previously reported, a new report has revealed what the opening and closing segments of tonight’s SmackDown will be.
