Jack Perry Makes First Appearance Since CM Punk AEW Incident WWE/AEW

Tonight, the sudden re-appearance of Jack Perry for the first time since the AEW incident involving CM Punk in London.

Jack Perry popped up tonight in a potentially unlikely place, as he seems to have made his arrival in NJPW Strong.

At tonight’s NJPW Strong Battle in the Valley, Jack Perry made an unadvertised appearance with those in attendance noting that he attacked Shota Umino.

Featuring a new full beard that obscured his boyish face, Perry would lay out the star but wasn’t done there.

He ceremoniously tore up what appeared to be his AEW contract while in the ring and then donned a black armband that read ‘SCAPEGOAT’.

Whether or not Jack Perry remains contracted with AEW has not been revealed, but Perry was ‘suspended’ after the incident and has not been seen on television since.

Elsewhere tonight in professional wrestling, another big promotional partnership was revealed.

Since we last saw Jack Perry in AEW, CM Punk was fired from AEW and then re-hired by WWE making his debut at Survivor Series in Chicago, Illinois.

CM Punk has vowed to win the 2024 Royal Rumble and if successful, would go on to main event WrestleMania.
