Former TBS Champion Jade Cargill has reacted to having lost her title and her career undefeated streak at AEW Double or Nothing on pay-per-view.
After her initial win over Taya Valkyrie at AEW Double or Nothing in Las Vegas, Nevada, fans thought that Jade Cargill had yet again escaped a pay-per-view with her career undefeated streak intact.
That was of course until Mark Sterling gave some very terrible legal advice, boasting that Jade could absolutely go ‘Double or Nothing’ on the night.
This unfortunately summoned the shock return of Kris Statlander who answered the challenge and bested Cargill.
Cargill sharing her thoughts after the loss on Twitter, writing:
“It’s been a wild wild ride. Went for double and got nothing. #DoN”
With an epic Alpha Kappa Alpha entrance in homage to not just her fellow sorors but also featured an appearance from viral music sensation Big Boss Vette performing her TikTok hit, Pretty Girls Walk.
Jade made her way to the ring doing what some may have thought was just a dance but was a continued ode to Historically Black Colleges and the Greek system tradition of stepping and step competitions.
Jade Cargill, constantly representing Black culture exuding grace and excellence is reportedly going to undergo a ‘character shift’ upon return from some well deserved time off.
