Jade Cargill Confronts WWE Star On SmackDown

On tonight’s WWE SmackDown season premiere, there was a cameo on the blue brand by Jade Cargill where she bumped into a top star backstage.

Accompanied by Triple H, Jade Cargill was seemingly walking into the office of newly announced SmackDown GM Nick Aldis who had just finished talking to Charlotte Flair.

Having been informed by Nick Aldis that he has scheduled IYO SKY to defend her WWE Women’s Championship on next week’s SmackDown against her, Flair was initially leaving the interaction pleased until she crossed paths with Cargill.

You can see the alignment of two supernovas in the clip below but Triple H’s face watching the interaction in real time seems to be indicative of the level of star power involved in the moment.

Speaking of contemptuous face-to-face interactions, later in the show there was a big moment between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.

There’s no rest for the Tribal Chief as Roman Reigns returned in the opening segment of the night where his next challenger was seemingly also revealed and it isn’t Rhodes.
