Chris Jericho has confirmed that Jake Hager has signed a contract extension with All Elite Wrestling.
In an interview with Inside The Ropes ahead of All Out, Jericho was asked about the recent contract extensions of Matt Menard and Angelo Parker of the Jericho Appreciation Society.
Confirming that Hager has also came to terms on an extension, Jericho said:
“Jake Hager too, they all got contract extensions.
“I’ve told the story many times about how the Jericho Appreciation Society came to be. It was never planned, it was just something that happened in accordance to the circumstances that we were facing.
“I think the moment the five of us got together, it was a different vibe than the Inner Circle but I knew those guys were really good.
“I do feel proud that they got contract extensions, raises, everything in-between.
“They earned it, they earned it by showing what they can do.”
Hager last wrestled on the August 31 edition of Dynamite, against Bryan Danielson. Jericho notably faced Danielson at All Out, defeating the Blackpool Combat Club member in singles action.
Jericho also commented on the possibility of him becoming an AEW EVP, which you can read more about right here.
