Jake Roberts Claims MJF’s AEW Dynamite Promo ‘Made Him Sick’ AEW

A WWE Hall of Famer claims that he wasn’t a fan of MJF’s AEW Dynamite worked shoot promo and didn’t agree with his latest antics.

Jake Roberts has been known throughout his career for being one of the best promo guys to ever hold a microphone in the wrestling business.

MJF shocked the wrestling world when he cut a profanity-filled tirade on AEW and Tony Khan about how the star should be paid more. The promo followed Maxwell Jacob Friedman no showing a fan meet and greet, which led to days of reports regarding his status with the promotion.

Speaking on the latest episode of DDP Snake Pit, Jake “The Snake” Roberts revealed his feelings on MJF’s controversial promo.

He said:

“For me, it made me sick. It really did. I couldn’t believe he no-showed this signing man, it’s a big thing with Tony [Khan]. He loves these signings and he wants those guys there. For me, you don’t miss something like that. This is your fans, your fanbase, these people paid to get in there and you no-show them? Then you go dark, nobody can get ahold of you?”

Following his promo, MJF was removed from AEW’s roster page and his merchandise was removed from the company’s ShopAEW website.

Also, an edict was sent to Warner Bros. Discovery to remove the AEW star from all promotional material for the company moving forward.
