Je’Von Evans has named Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch, CM Punk and John Cena as some of his mentors behind the scenes in WWE, along with several other top stars.
After establishing himself as one of the most exciting talents in NXT in the years following his WWE debut in 2024, “The Young OG” Je’Von Evans was officially called up to Monday Night Raw on the first episode of 2026.
While Evans has yet to capture his elusive first championship in WWE, the 22-year-old has been in constant contention for the Intercontinental Title, and looks poised for major success in the company for potentially decades to come.
Given his inexperience on WWE’s main roster, it’s perhaps not surprise that Evans has sought regular advice from some of WWE’s most tenured names since being called up from NXT, as revealed by the North Carolina native during a recent interview with Denise Salcedo.
Namedropping a who’s who of top WWE stars and legends including Roman Reigns, John Cena, Randy Orton and his former NXT boss Shawn Michaels, Evans said:
“A lot of people (have given him advice). I asked everybody, like ‘Hey, if you see something let me know.’ Especially if they have a lot of experience here on main roster.
“But right now, of course Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk and John Cena. Those are like my OGs, (and) of course Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes.
“They all look out for me… Those are the people that help me out the most, they look out for me. And Papa Shawn (Shawn Michaels).”
