Jim Cornette was the manager of the Midnight Express during the 80s and early 90s. Together they were one of the most effective heel groups in wrestling history. Another one of those groups was the Four Horsemen, led by Ric Flair.
Now, it has come to light that the Midnight Express (made up of Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane) nearly joined Flair and Arn Anderson to form a new version of the stable. Jim Cornette also added that the group would have been managed by Woman (AKA Nancy Benoit).
This is correct–and managed by Woman!

The original tweet says this would have been the best working version of the Four Horsemen and it is difficult to argue that. During the time, Flair, Anderson, Eaton and Lane were four of the best workers anywhere in the world. Needless to say this would have been a hell of a faction.
The original tweet also blames former WCW President Jim Herd for the faction not seeing the light of day. Herd was notoriously bad in his role in WCW with his interference in the direction of the company leading to the departure of stars like Flair and the Midnight Express.
