John Cena Sends Message To Fans After Teasing Retirement On SmackDown

John Cena Sends Message To Fans After Teasing Retirement On SmackDown WWE

After teasing possible retirement on last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, John Cena has spoken out on Twitter with a message for fans.

Cena opened up last night about how he hasn’t won a televised singles match since 2018 and wondered if he still has what it takes… but then, in typical Cena fashion, he took a motivated approach and said he wants to end that streak.

The day after the show, alongside a picture of him from SmackDown, Cena wrote:

“It’s you. It’s me. It’s us.

“Thank you to the incredible crowd at #Smackdown and @WWE

“Universe for allowing me to continue to spend time with you. Good & bad, ups & downs I am grateful for every second we spend together.”

Elsewhere on social media, John Cena’s typically cryptic Instagram account posted a more direct than usual snap.

Dropping a pic of Leonardo DiCaprio from Wolf of Wall Street, it seems that Cena is not leaving WWE just yet.

John Cena’s continued availability to appear on WWE hinges on the ongoing Hollywood SAG-AFTRA strike that has now hit 100 days with no end in sight.

John Cena was advertised by a Riyadh tourism commercial to be appearing at WWE Crown Jewel and there was seemingly an opponeny who emerged on last night’s WWE SmackDown.
