WWE star John Cena has reacted to being name dropped on a new diss track by hip-hop star Drake.
On Drake’s lastest EP, he name drops John Cena in a song by noting that not even the 16 time WWE champion could understand what he was going through.
In the song ‘Wick Man’, Drake says:
“I’m almost expressionless, John Cena wouldn’t know the emotions that I wrestle with”
The song is gaining some mainstream media coverage as fans speculate as to who the ‘diss track’ is aimed at but it doesn’t appear to be Cena!
Now Cena has responded with a similar nod of respect, posting a photo of Drake to his typically cryptic Instagram account.
With Cena posting a photo of Drake holding a WWE Championship title, it seems that Cena was not incensed by the nod!
With WrestleMania 40 season headed WWE fans’ direction, who knows what other mainstream star crossovers could pop up.
It’s also uncertain if we’ll see Cena again at WrestleMania time, as Crown Jewel seemed to be his write-off for at least a significant amount of time.
