John Cena Final WWE Opponent Pitched

Two WWE stars have shared their pitches for John Cena’s final opponent, with one naming Cena’s rumored last rival.

With John Cena set to wrestle his retirement match at the December 13 Saturday Night’s Main Event special, there has been a lot of speculation about who will be the 17-time world champion’s final foe.

Speaking with the Kairouz Bros, Damian Priest shared a pitch for The Rock to be Cena’s final opponent.

Believing this match should be a massive event, Priest said:

“Just as a fan, and because of what they’ve meant to the business, hell, why not be Rock.

“It really could be so many different people. You’ve still got Roman in there.

“Go big, you know. Go the biggest you can right now. And who’s a bigger star on this planet than The Rock?”

In the same video, Sami Zayn noted that he believes John Cena wants to give someone momentum on his way out, stating:

“Knowing John, I think he wants to make someone on the way out the door. Bron Breakker comes to mind. GUNTHER comes to mind.

“I’d love to see it be a bad guy though. Seth is already kind of a made man, they have a great history with each other. That’d be a great match.”
