An update has been provided on Jon Moxley’s status ahead of AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday.
On the October 4 AEW Dynamite 4th Anniversary, Rey Fenix defeated Nick Jackson to retain the AEW International Championship.
Following the bout, AEW announced that Fenix will defend the title against former champion Jon Moxley on the October 10 Title Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite.
This will mark Moxley’s first AEW match since suffering a mild concussion during his match with Fenix at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam.
During the October 8 Wrestling Revolver show in Dayton, Ohio, Moxley was scheduled to face Gringo Loco on the event, but he informed the audience that doctors had not cleared him to wrestle yet.
Moxley’s status for his Dynamite match with Fenix has not been clarified as of yet, but the bout is still scheduled.
As previously reported, “Timeless” Toni Storm will be appearing on this Tuesday’s broadcast.
WrestleTalk will provide any news and notes from tomorrow’s AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday when they become available.
