Ex-WWE Star Trending On Social Media After Nia Jax WWE Return WWE

On the September 11 edition of Raw, Nia Jax made her return to WWE, laying out both Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez.

As expected, numerous fans took to Twitter to share their honest thoughts on the polarising star’s comeback.

Nia Jax wasn’t the only star trending following her return, with former NXT Women’s Champion Kairi Sane’s name also trending on Twitter.

Kairi’s name has been trending for several reasons following WWE Raw, some good, some… less so.

With reports that Kairi Sane is also WWE-bound, many fans recalled an infamous botch from their match in May 2020, resulting in Sane reportedly suffering a ‘significant head cut’.

While Fightful reported at the time that Kairi sustained a cut from a spot outside the ring with steel steps, many fans have also shared clips of Kairi and Jax’ failed buckle bomb from another Performance Center era match.

Not every Kairi tweet has been negative however, with many speculating that the Japanese star could be preparing for a SmackDown debut, following Jax’ Raw appearance.

It was previously reported that Kairi Sane is set to return to WWE following her exit from the company in December 2021.

While the initial report stated that her return could be ‘imminent’, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer stated that Kairi had several more dates scheduled in Japan to fulfil.

Kairi hasn’t personally announced her WWE return, instead noting that she will soon be going on a hiatus from wrestling.

The Japanese star’s final match for STARDOM ahead of her hiatus has been announced, which you can read more about right here.
